Heh. Spent the night at v's last night. It was the coziest thing. To go over and know I wouldn't have to go home until the next morning. It was perfect.
We went shopping yesterday. omgomgosh. I got four long-sleeved shirts. I love them so much. Boyfriend got a couple pairs of jeans to make his ass look (dare I say it, is it even possible?) even more amazing, and a couple shirts. He's yummy. AND he got an awesome hoodie, and since he got $20 in Kohls dollars, I get to go buy my own awesome matching hoodie with him tomorrow. =D
We also went to JoAnn's so I could use my secret santa gift card. I got an awesome punch that makes elegant corners and a "Garden Party" paper stack. V went to GuitarCenter and exchanged the pedals he bought the day before. Apparently guitar pedals are finicky. But it meant he wanted to try them out that night. <3 He's such a cool guitarist boy.
We also went to CiCi's Pizza Buffet (NOT the one in WSP, fuggin' ew). It's actually pretty nice for $5. Boy and I love our mac'n'cheese pizza, dontcha know.
Um... I think that's about all for public memoirs.
Today I just did homework and helped mom set up her villiage. Apparently Izzy died while I was away too. :/

Ummm.....yup. I think that's about it. Oh yeah. Working tomorrow. On a Monday. Boo.

But cleaning's not really exciting right now.

My hands smell like potatoes. My legs look like supercharged rainbows. My RC cola is almost empty.

I bought a new journal (like, actual paper). It's pretty cool, it has owls and other creatures on it and each page is different, like polka dotted, graphed paper, lines, etc. It's pretty cool. Haven't written much in it yet. Been too headachey.

Saturday, v and I went to the zoo, then the people zoo aka the mall, and then to my work xmas party. Wasn't too bad. My secret santa person loved her gifts, which surprised me. I imagined anything I got her would go over with a luke-warm response.

I'm wearing an exceptional amount of make up right now. I'm unsure why.

I guess the family Christmas party is on my birthday. I haven't decided if I'm going yet. I suppose I'd might as well. Realistically, do I really think this birthday is going to suck any less than the rest did? No. Of course not. Even I'm not that stupid.

My brain's a bit scattered, in case you couldn't tell. I did get my drawers in my dresser organized. And laundry is in the dryer. I suppose that's a good accomplishment for a Monday. Tonight I'm going to do homework at vernon's. It's nice to have that option since then I don't have to worry about how I'm not doing homework during the day. I suppose going and being productive or maybe getting ready... or something, would be beneficial right now. I guess that's what I'll do. Or maybe a survey of some sort. Mind-numbing? I could use some lidocaine.

v and I spent yesterday curled up on the living room floor watching movies in the dark, eating ice cream, popcorn and Chinese food. It was the coziest day. We watched Bolt first. That was so cute. I'm pretty sure I'm going to buy that one. Then we watched Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. I liked that one too. It was confusing at first, but I liked how it played out. After that was Up. I cried twice within the first 20 minutes. And again at the end. Fuck you Disney.
I did homework today. Woo. And worked. Tons of ghosties at work tonight.... *shudder* I think I'm going to watch When Nietzsche Wept tonight.
Thanksgiving is this week already. Mom's shredding bread upstairs and we have 7 turkeys in the freezer. Yup. 7. Don't ask me why. At least I get a day off...

One of my friends got screwed over by a boy... again.
She kept saying "I should have seen it coming..."
Doesn't every girl say that?
We get hurt repeatedly, until we just lose all forgiveness and swear we'll never do it again, then some other boy comes along, screws us over and if we don't give him a second chance (because we did that last time and it didn't work) then we're holding our ex's against them. So, we give them another chance, because this boy's different. Boys are never "different."

Anyway, enough of my pessimism. Yesterday was nice. I made chicken and dumplings (aka Hug in a Bowl) for my boy. I used seasoned roasted chicken and Bisquick dumplings. Very yummy. I really need to get my homework done or at least started. I'm such a procrastinator. I also need to get the pomegranate stains out of my white shirt.... silly artistic boy who doesn't warn me when he's going to squish pomegranate rupees into his sketch book. Meh. I suppose I should start one of these tasks, eh? Off I go...

Let's see here:

• Vernon made me an awesome laptop bag. It's so cool and elegant. It's black and white, it has lace on the front. I love it. It fits my laptop perfectly but doesn't look like a laptop bag.
• Had some issues with Rex. His toe got caught in his ID band and swelled up all huge. We had to cut his band off and he's been on Metacam for the past few days. He's doing a lot better though and his foot looks good. Today is the last day of his meds, though I think he'd rather continue them since it tastes like honey and he loves getting it as a treat.
• Vernon and I went to Hobby Lobby in Rochester on Saturday and found a ton of ornaments he designed. They're all pretty cool. I got a few of them, he bought at least one of each. I also got a bunch of cool bird ornaments for my tree since I decided that from now on, all I'm going to have on my Christmas tree is birds.
• V and I (trend here....) went to Caribou in Mendota Heights yesterday and we both got stuff done, so we went to Sleepy Hollow and wandered around. We were looking at four deer across the pond, in someone's yard and then got yelled at for apparently being on "private property" which I'm pretty sure, in fact, more than positive that we weren't. We then decided that people who think they own nature are fucking assholes and we vowed to never become pessimistic middle-aged fucks.
• Amy and I hung out on Friday after work. It was one year after Stormi died so it was nice to be in good company. We ate Chinese food and talked about stupid people.

Um... that's really all I can think of for now. It's been exciting and good for the most part. Life is definitely better now than it was a year ago. I guess that's all that really matters, right?

...even metaphorical ones.
This has been one whirlwind of a week. So much has happened and it's finally winding down now... Like, from Thursday until today it's just been up and down and around all over. I suppose it's all ended well, for now, from what I can tell. Extreme highs and extreme lows all within 12 hours of each other take their toll.

Anyway, vernon's going to make me a bag for my laptop and books so I don't have to buy a stupid one that I'll hate in a month or two. It's also so that we can go to coffee shops during the week (since I recently learned I'm way more motivated around him) and he can draw while I get homework done. Plus we'd get to see each other more, which is a bonus of course.

I suppose I should go make myself as pretty as it gets since I'm going out with v tonight and that's less than an hour away... >.>

Wow... time flies. Anyway, lots has actually happened since Sunday... none of it too exciting, but hey, if you're reading this, you're either stalking me or you're really fucking bored.
Monday - went shopping with mom. We went to Noodles at the mall and wandered around. I got some really cool Halloween stuff from Archivers for next year and for starting my new scrapbook... which I think I'll start soon-ish... maybe. I also spent the afternoon making a way cool CD case for my vernon mag-OWN-ley. We decided to make mixed CDs for each other. Mine turned out pretty cool, his turned out better. But in my defense, I didn't have fancy tools, equipment and mad artist skills on my side.
I don't really remember Tuesday... OH! Tuesday I got bit by a cat at work and ended up at Urgent Care. Antibiotics. Woo. Still fucking hurts. It wasn't the cat's fault though, she was waking up from anethesia, she didn't know what was going on.
Wednesday I went to Baja Sol with v and we talked and had a grand ol' time. Listened to our CDs. Like the mushy couple we are. <3
Today's been pretty boring. I've been laughing off everyone else's negativity and control-freakiness. I dunno. Life's too short to worry about other people being bitches. I have some homework to do tonight and tomorrow, then hanging out with my vernon again this weekend. Exciting, exciting.

What a weekend...
Thursday - got off work early, went on a shopping adventure, made reubens for dinner.
Friday - carved punkins, set up for the WS show, got dressed up, hung out with Ms. Amy, saw amazing boyfriend play all cute-like, got a flat tire on the way home from getting late night Chinese food.
Saturday - watched MonsterQuest most of the day, went looking for an abandoned house and failed, had a doe run into the side of boyfriend's truck and make a ginormous dent, ate tons of Chinese food, lit punkins and took pics, passed out candy to all 4 trick-or-treaters.

Now it's Sunday, so I have to do dishes and clean up, since I've kinda neglected those things all weekend. And finish homework. Blah. Off I go...

Busy day today. Gotta get everything done so that the rest of the week/weekend will be free. I got all of my MS Office assignments done, my Human Behavior discussion and I cleaned all of my bird cages extremely thoroughly. I vacuumed and started cleaning the bathroom. Gotta finish that, hang up my clothes, make my bed, and take out the trash, maybe do my Info Systems homework if I have time and energy. Oh, and shower somewhere in there. All before like, 11pm. Eeep. Then tomorrow, work and FREE! W00t!

Halloween is Saturday, plus it's daylight savings.
Gotta carve punkins with v maybe Friday I think. Tomorrow afternoon is reserved for adventure.

Luckily, I haven't been feeling too sick. I was up coughing a lot last night, but it's not too bad, especially during the day. So far it hasn't knocked me out like it did mom and dad. Vernon's been kinda sick lately too. >.>

Welp, I suppose I'd better get back to work... lots to do still but having it all done will be sooo worth it.

Not much happened this week. Lots of work and school, which probably accounts for the lack of Livejournaling.

Tomorrow is Missy's party. I'm kinda excited, but nervous too. I dunno why. Probably because it's the one time you can go out with coworkers and just beg for attention... except that I hate attention... It'll be interesting. V's coming. My dragonfly outfit is awesome, even with minor tweaking because of weather.

Oh yeah, it snowed again today. Big, fat, fluffy flakes. They didn't stay though. Too warm still.

Um.... probably won't update too much over the next week. Since next week/weekend will be pretty awesome, to say the least. =D

I wish I could share it with my vernon, but he's at band practice today. *sigh* Maybe the rest of the week will be nice.... then again this is Minnesota. "Nice" could imply my kind of nice: Snow. =D Maybe... I haven't looked at the weather in quite some time. Like, months.

Friday I went to work and then headed out to Prescott to help set up the canary show. Moving tables and chairs, setting up the raffle table, learning how to use an Excel spreadsheet (well, nodding along... I already knew it), etc. Then I went to Walmart with v and got my electric blanket. omg. It's sooooo warm. Like, the second lowest setting is warmer than my old blanket's highest setting. Then we went to Nooooodles for dinner.

Yesterday was the canary show. I only stuck around for the first division (type canaries) before heading home with vernon. I was supposed to be doing homework all afternoon while v drew. Yeah.... I rested and he played with Rex. Then we went and got pizza and went to his house for a while so as to eliminate the chance of my parents coming home while vernon was at my house. That's all the bs I'd need.... *eyeroll*

Man, the smell of raspberry lemonade mixed with spaghetti on the stove reminds me of my Grandma W's house. o_O Anyway...

Last night vernon went to see Paranormal Activity, but since I'm a pansy I stayed home. I attempted to wait up for him to come online once he got home, but ended up "resting my head" and falling asleep (contacts in, lappy still running). I woke up during a stupid dream filled with stupid people because I rolled over and my hip got blasted with superheated air from my poor lappy. At 5:15 am, of course. Then I went back to bed and had another stupid dream minus the stupid people.

And that brings me to today. Which was homework filled up until about an hour ago. So.... yep. That's my boring weekend. Which wasn't boring to me. But nonetheless boring to you.

I've decided my ex can keep sending stupid emails to vernon (he sent another today). I figure this time of year is probably hard on him and I'm sure the snow reminds him of the "ice queen." Not to mention he then sees v's site and how successful he is. I'm sure it feels like a slap in the face.

Anyway, I decided to make an art project out of my ex's old bullshit, psycho letters that I have still. I think it'll be fun and it'll definitely involve stage blood. =D

My boyfriend is buying me a new electric blanket on Friday because mine broke. It'll be cold until then, but so warm and cuddly once I get it. Especially since it'll be from him. I can't wait to snuggle under it.

I'm finding motivation is hard to come by this week when it comes to school. I think it was all the motivation I had last week... it kinda wore me out. Too much of a good thing I guess. Oh well. All of my assignments are exceptionally easy this week (Research the difference between quantitative and qualitative research methods, gimme a break....)

This weekend is the bird show, next weekend is Missy's party, weekend after is Halloween and WS. My goodness it'll be a ride.

Word of advice: If you're going to "anonymously" harass someone, don't brag about it on Twitter.

So, I broke up with this guy almost a year ago now... and today he randomly sends my boyfriend a dumbass message over his professional, personal website (withicecreamonabicycle.com). WTF? Totally unprovoked. Seriously? Does he really have nothing better to do than impersonate my friend and write a douchebag email to my boyfriend? God, I'm glad he's out of my life. And no matter how much he's apparently trying to weasel his way back in, out he will stay. Vernon is such a wonderful boyfriend and I'm really thankful I have him. All this stuff is happening to him, and he's too worried about me being upset to even be upset himself. He also thought it was funny how stupid it was though. We came to the conclusion that he probably happened across the website and heard through the grapevine that v was my boyfriend and got jealous because of how cool vernon is. xD Makes sense. I'll let it slide this time, but if it continues I'll have to get a restraining order. I don't feel like dealing with cops and court right now though. But no one messes with my vernon. Certainly after all this time and unprovoked. I'm mostly in shock about the whole ordeal.

Anyway, that wasn't even worth the update. It was more for documentation purposes.
The pretty snow is mostly gone, but I hear more is on the way. I may have to rethink my Halloween costume... luckily it's easily modified.
But, I should probably go eat and be productive instead of interneting and wandering in snow. :p It's been a fun day though, overall. ^^

Yesterday, vernon and I went to the apple orchard. It was great fun. I think I ate about 5 apples. Vernon ate more than I did. He's such a cute boy...



We also bought pumpkins that we got to pick out ourselves. Mine's such a nice pumpkin. Vern's is nice too.... I guess. =D I'm going to carve Edward Cullen into mine. And I got another cheap one from Cub that I'm going to carve a Doberman into. One for my house, one for Vernon's. Or something like that.

I finally made up a schedule for October that includes everything that I have going on this month. Good Lord. What have I gotten myself into? If I can make it through the next two and a half weeks, all will be wonderful though. I've already got a headstart on next week's homework so that'll make things easier.
I have to work tonight and hopefully it'll go well. There's only supposed to be like, 3 animals staying. But that probably means something horrible happened and I'll get stuck there. Luckily I got all of my homework done this afternoon so I don't have to worry about not getting out of there at a decent time. I'll definitely be gone by 11pm, which is the latest I can start what's left and have it done by midnight. Just have some discussion repsonses and submitting assignments left.

I happened upon a friend of one of my "friend's" blog today. He mentioned he was a comic artist. After a little more digging, I came across some of his art/comics. Yeah. I didn't realize how happy it makes me to see comic artists and how everyone around them thinks they're great... unless compared to my Vernon. Who's just fucking amazing. Like, literally, it's no competition. Legends on Your Lunchbox will be more amazing than anything that kid would ever make.

Anyway, enough of my pride. Today sucked. Well, work-wise. I am so ready for a nap, which I will be doing once I finish this. Actually, no. I'm just going to go nap now. Because I can't think of anything else to say.
